Grain finished animals

Although most of Vaquería del Este’s production is grass-fed cattle, there’s a grain finished proportion in fattening pens. Such pens are all registered and authorized for export in HQB quota, and fulfill the highest quality standards regarding nutrition, handling and animal welfare.

For steers, the weights coming out of this pens average 287 Kg carcass weight, with 110 days, and in heifers 282 kg carcass weight.
